La mejor opción para moverse por Mikonos es alquilar una moto o un quad, te permitirá recorrer toda la isla, ir de playa en playa, ver la puesta de sol desde la elevada zona del antiguo faro y encontrar sitio donde aparcar en el pueblo. Los precios varián entre 20-23 € al día, y en algunos hoteles ofrecen tarifas descuento si el alquiler supera los 3 días. No hay semáforos, y tan solo existen dos rotondas en toda la isla, no olvideís: "precaución amigo conductor".
